Regina Giovanna Beach
While there are no facilities here, this beach deserves a mention. Regina
Giovanna Beach, also known as Bagni della Regina Giovanna, offers tranquil
waters and Roman villa ruins dating back to the 1st century BC, named after
Queen Joanna I of Naples. To get there from Sorrento center, head west on Corso
Italia Road, continue onto Via Capo, and follow the road to the path leading down
to the beach. The walk takes about 40 minutes, or you can take a bus from
Sorrento's Via degli Aranci, Banca M.P.S., which takes approximately 9 minutes.
