The best time to visit the region is in April,
May, and October when the weather is
pleasant and crowds are manageable.
Summer months can be very hot, crowded,
and expensive, while winter (November
through March) is off-season with cooler
temperatures, closed hotels and restaurants,
and no ferries. However, Sorrento remains
vibrant year-round with many open
restaurants and hotels and fewer crowds in
winter.
